We do “what it says on the label” – provide solutions in loss adjusting. Adjusting is not about processing. To us it is about in-depth investigation, rigorous analysis and inspired resolution of difficult insurance situations. Our aim is to establish a timely solution which delivers the promise of an insurance policy to the satisfaction of all parties.
Why the olive branch logo?
The peace symbol is perhaps a bit hackneyed but we do pour oil on troubled waters and look to bring triumph in adversity.
Who will you work for?
Lloyd’s Underwriters, Managing Agents, Insurance Companies, Reinsurers, Captives, Brokers, Claims Management Companies, Law Firms, Barristers, Government Bodies, FSA, SFO and Corporates.
What work do you do?
Our core work is the adjustment of complex commercial insurance claims but we look to resolve all manner of disputes. Our specialisms are product recall/liability, professional indemnity, technology, transportation, construction, agri-business and major property losses with financial loss/business interruption. We also carry out claim audit reviews, risk review, consulting and expert witness/advisory work.
What makes you different?
The service that we provide matches the ideals that first brought us into adjusting. The excitement of claims handling, in-depth investigation into difficult circumstances where individuals and business are under stress, getting quickly to the heart of the matter and being bold enough to make commercial, timely decisions, communicating appropriately and formally reporting as required, winning people over and creating solutions that try to bring good out of an adverse situation.
Can you handle major incidents?
It is our passion and raison d’etre. Simply throwing bodies at an issue can merely result in huge costs and a directionless claim. We use the best individuals for the job on the basis that you will get a better result from someone who has an intrinsic understanding and concern. Where required we are quite happy to work on a team basis with your other experts and consultants or provide additional specialists known to us.
What about your " Associates " ?
We have a network of " Associates " that provide skills ranging from injury specialisms to reinsurance audit. All are qualified, have good personal reputations and have worked with us in times past. They give us good geographical coverage and technical support in respect of National Accounts.

Emphatically no! But we will work for the Corporates, on uninsured aspects, recoveries and losses below the deductible levels or above policy limits. On most liability and business recovery issues the interests of Insurer and Insured are directly aligned and we see no conflict.

Yes. We have done so providing support at the high end level. We have also audited their work and provided an alternative resource when your usual adjusters are in a conflicted position. We are not seen as a threat to the incumbent adjuster or panel.

We have experience in all forms of insurance claims but our preferred area is business, commercial and industrial. However where a personal lines claim is complex or needs specialist handling then we can provide the appropriate level of experience and care.
Is it just insurance work that you do?
No. Increasingly we are asked to assist Corporates resolve claims with clients, customers or other businesses. These may or may not be insured. Our abilities in listening, getting to the real issues and broking strategies that have led to commercial solutions has proved to be a winner in these difficult trading times.
Are you expensive?
We have had to re-think our position here in view of the economic climate. Everyone wants a bargain (including ourselves) but not a bargain basement service. Our aim is to satisfy you on costs so that the value of what we bring is commensurate with the expense to you. We aspire to repeat work and partnership with our clients and are therefore open to fee proposals and discussion.
